Carlynn studied Dance and Musical Theatre at Pretoria Technikon, she is a shareholder of Contractors Artists, an actors agency, established in 1996. She has held the Vice Chair role for the PMA and is the SAGA representative on the SASFED council. The lack of professional standards and exploitation of the rights of performers in the industry inspired her to collaborate with a number of performers and initiate SAGA. As a Founder member, she is committed to upliftment, education and working for the rights of professional actors in the industry.
